Friendship will participate in the annual Gloucester Schooner Festival on Saturday, September 3rd and then set sail back home to her berth on Derby Wharf in Salem on Saturday, September 4th. Both excursions are open to the general public. Tickets for this exclusive event are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each ticket ($200 Essex Heritage members/$250 non-members) will provide for a 6 hour sail and opportunities to help sail the vessel as a volunteer crew-member, view the festival’s participating schooners, interact with Park Service interpreters who will share information about the ship and our maritime history, snacks and lunch with the crew provided by the Ship's capable cook and a special edition Friendship of Salem logo'd cap.
