Everyone is welcome to our 3rd Annual Block Party to be held on Winthrop Avenue in front of Wollaston Congregational Church. The fun begins at 6pm and ends at 8pm on Friday, September 9, 2011.

There will be plenty of family activities including a D.J., bouncy house, dance performance, and a variety of games for children of all ages. Hot dogs and chips are only $1.00. All other food and beverages are complimentary.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

At all of our Family Fun Night events, we encourage everyone to bring non-perishable food items to support Quincy’s Interfaith Social Services’ (I.S.S.) pantry.

Driving Directions From:
North Shore
Take the Neponset Exit off the Southeast Expressway.
Bear right and go over the Neponset River Bridge (stay to the right).
Take the first exit.
At the first set of lights just before the Cathay Pacific Restaurant bear right on Newport Ave.

Follow Newport Ave. up to the Wollaston ‘T’ Station (approx. 2 miles).
Go up the hill past the ‘T’ and at the lights take a right on Beale Street.
Then, take your first left on Winthrop Avenue.
Just past the Marion St. intersection you will see the church on your left.

South Shore
Take the Quincy Center Exit off Rt. 3 to Burgin Parkway. On your right as you exit the highway is the Quincy-Adams ‘T’ Station.
Follow Burgin Pkwy. approx. 2-3 miles, it turns into Newport Ave. after you cross Granite Ave. by the Quincy Center ‘T’ station.
Continue on about another mile, through three more sets of lights.
At the fourth set of lights, turn left on Beale Street. (If you miss this turn you will see the Wollaston ‘T’ station on your right, see note below***.)
Then, take your first left on to Winthrop Avenue.
Just past the Marion St. intersection you will see the church on your left.

From Rte. 128
Follow 128 up to the South Shore Plaza and bear right as if you were going to go to the Cape. Take the Quincy/Braintree exit and bear left. This will take you to Burgin Pkwy.
Follow Burgin Pkwy. approx. 2-3 miles, it turns into Newport Ave. after you cross Granite Ave. by the Quincy Center ‘T’ station.
Continue on about another mile, through three more sets of lights.
At the fourth set of lights, turn left on Beale Street. (If you miss this turn you will see the Wollaston ‘T’ station on your right, see note below***.)
Then, take your first left on to Winthrop Avenue.

*** IF you went through the lights and the Wollaston ‘T’ station is on your right, take an immediate left and turn around. Go back up the hill past the ‘T’ and at the lights take a right on Beale Street. Then, take your first left on to Winthrop Avenue.
