Solve the mystery of the missing glowing lobster by investigating clues, performing experiments, and questioning suspects!
The Mystery
While checking his traps one day, a lobsterman pulls a mysterious mutant lobster from the waters off Plum Island and donates it to Joppa Flats to showoff in its famous touch tank.
None of the joppa Flats biologists can identify the species of this strange creature - but they do notice that it glows in the dark.
A photographer from the Daily News comes the next day, but its too late. The newcomer from the touch tank is missing. Holy crustacean! The lobster has been stolen! What's happened!? The glowing lobster is still missing and we need your help.
Children must be accompanied by adults for the duration of their visit and are invited to drop in anytime between 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The program concludes at 9:00 pm.
The mystery takes about 45 minutes to solve. Refreshments will be sold.
No preregistration is required. If you have a large group, please call us to let us know you are coming!
