· 5:30-7:45 PM Direct solar observations in the observatory and outside (weather permitting)
· 5:30-8:30 PM Exhibit galleries open for self-guided exploration
· 5:30-8:30 PM Children’s activities with Discovery Center educators in exhibit galleries
· Continuous showing of Transit of Venus on plasma screens
· 5:45-8:15 PM Talks on the Transit of Venus (Function Room)
· 5:45-8:15 Transit of Venus show in the planetarium theater, alternating with:
· 6-8:30 Transits and Eclipses night sky show in planetarium theater
· 6:30 PM Reenactment of Captain Cook’s observation of the Transit of Venus by RP Hale with his antique telescope
