Schedule Highlights
12:00-2:30 Continuous tours of the mill and frame-turning demonstrations.
2:00-5:00 Closing reception for “Mosaics at the Mill” – a show of mosaic art by 40 local and regional artists.
2:30-4:00 New England Voices presents “In Yonder Valley” – concert of Shaker spirituals with historical narrative performed by sopranos Nancy McDowell and Emily Browder Melville.
The Old Schwamb Mill is an 1864 oval picture frame factory and living museum.
Open Tuesdays and Saturdays 11-3 for tours and gallery viewing. Groups by appt.
Shopping is available at the Shaker Workshops store in the mill’s barn: furniture, lamps, rugs, and many seasonal and unique gift items Mon-Sat 10-5pm.
