Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts (SBN) presents its second Buy Local Food Trade Show and Seminar at the Seaport World Trade Center Boston on March 19, 2013.
This event is designed to facilitate connections and stimulate trade between local buyers and sellers of specialty crop food products and includes expert Buyer and Seller panels on overcoming barriers to selling and buying local products and open floor trading.
Admission is $25.00 and includes access to seminars and trade show floor.
There are several vendor spots still available for local specialty crop producers as well as a couple for other local food producers (fishers, non-speciality crop, value-added producers, local food exhibitors, etc) The event is FREE for farmers and specialty food producers, and other vendor booths are $100.
We are also looking for restaurants and schools, business and health institutions who are interested in purchasing more local food.
Limited admission and vendor booths available.
This event is organized by SBN in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MassGrown), Northwest Atlantic Marine Alliance (NAMA) and Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) and Seaport World Trade Center.
