Activities for Everyone! Music, Food and Festivities.
- Hop on the Hay Wagon!
- Enjoy a hayride on Saturday morning with Pat and Pam, two strawberry roan Belgian draft horses, who will pull a hay wagon around the grounds of the library!
- Add Your Brushstroke to History!
- In Children's Department Story Craft Room, help create a work of art to hang in the library for years to come. Everyone can participate in this all-inclusive 'Off the Wall' mural project. - A miniature of the painting will be sealed in our 25-year time capsule!
- Learn About the Library!
- Stroll through the library on a guided (or self-guided) tour and discover fun facts about the library's art, architecture, and history from local experts.
- Helen Marie Casey will speak about our Hosmer paintings, Architect Kevin Latady will talk about his Atkinson Wing renovation in 1999, and Hal Cutler will portray John Goodnow, original benefactor of the Goodnow Library.
- Enjoy Beautiful Music!
From bluegrass entertainment by the Clyde County Express to concerts by the Musicgals, Acafella, and Accent, you'll also be treated to performances by local students and residents on piano, flute, and guitar throughout the day.
