The Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center in Newton will hold a free, family-oriented open house on Sunday, September 10, from noon until 4pm. The event includes an outdoor children’s concert; children’s activities such as soccer, basketball, dance, clay making, painting, woodworking and rock wall; My Gym® activities in the children’s gym; open exercise floors (cardio and strength training) for adults; and a Rosh Hashanah art project.

The musical duo Shirav – featuring renowned children’s entertainers Rabbi David Paskin and Rabbi Menachem Creditor – will perform at the children’s concert. The concert takes place from 3-4pm.

The event is open to the entire community. Event will be held rain or shine. For more information, call 617-558-6522. The JCC is located at 333 Nahanton Street, across from Wells Avenue.
