Catherine Codman, Rebecca Gore's cousin, and Mary, a servant, will share stories from their lives. Each woman will deliver a short talk, followed by a question and answer session.
Chautauqua is a fact based first-person talk and question and answer session given by a costumed-interpreter, focusing on life stories based on scholarly research and primary sources a multi-sensory experience, immersing the audience in the experience. It is named for Chautauqua, New York where this style of presentation was developed in the late 19th century.

Held in the elegant 1806 mansion, this evening in the Federal Era also includes period music and refreshment. Doors open at 6:30pm. The presentation begins at 7:00pm. $5 suggested donation. Gore Place members free.
