Due to a lack of snow, the Antique Sleigh Rally, scheduled for February 1 at Old Sturbridge Village, has been canceled. Old Sturbridge Village is looking into the possibility of rescheduling the event at a later date.
Come celebrate getting around the old-fashioned way at Old Sturbridge Village’s antique sleigh rally.
Vintage sleighs will be pulled by a variety of horse breeds including Haflinger, Gypsy, Morgan, Arabian, Clydesdale, Percheron, and miniature horses.
The competition will feature a dozen different divisions including “Sleigh Dog” and “Currier & Ives.” Visitors can also enjoy ice skating (BYO skates), sleigh rides around the commons, and sledding.
