What is a MMOTA Convention?
Mothers of Twins (and higher order multiples) from around the state come together for approximately 24 hours of fun, friendship, learning & lots of laughs!
This year West Suburban is hosting the state convention, which will be at the Hampton Inn in Natick.
What can you expect at a MMOTA Convention?
Getting decked out in “theme” clothing – this year that theme is 'Peace, Love & MMOTA' (think groovy 60s!).
Friday evening DJ dance party in hotel ballroom.
Saturday breakfast & shopping at tables set up in the hotel by various vendors, selling items such as jewelry, clothing, crafts, and more!
Saturday workshops to choose from on a wide variety of topics - there is really something for everyone!
Saturday afternoon - enjoy lunch & a great keynote speaker.
The grand finale of the convention & everyone’s favorite event – the announcement of raffle basket winners!
o Each year there are approximately 200 large gift baskets full of donated items, including some very high ticket items put on display.
All weekend, convention attendees are able to purchase raffle tickets & place them in numbered cups corresponding to whichever baskets they like.
By the end of Saturday afternoon, drawings are held on all 200 baskets and winners go home with big prizes!
MOST OF ALL – expect to meet new friends, nurture bonds with old friends, relax, unwind and enjoy some time away with fellow twin moms!
Do I have to stay overnight at a MMOTA Convention?
No, but you surely will want to!
Most attendees stay at the hotel, you certainly have the option of going home to sleep.
How do I sign up?
Registration forms will be out in early August 2013 on www.mmota.org.
Visit MMOTA.org for more information on this year's Friday night party, workshops and keynote speaker.
