Johnny Appleseed’s The World's Tallest Ice Luge

Workers will begin loading the required 25,000 pounds of ice into the Seaport World Trade Center as early as 6 a.m. Thursday morning to prepare for the evening event.
Electro-funk duo Chromeo will help Johnny Appleseed Hard Apple Cider welcome the start of summer with a free performance.
Boston’s own Jenny Dell will host and emcee the event, taking place in the shadow of the World’s Largest Ice Luge.
Gates open at 7 p.m., with Chromeo taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. for a 60-minute DJ set that will include a performance of their latest single, “Jealous,” which is also featured in Johnny Appleseed’s national television commercial.
