Maynard Downtown!!! announces its second annual Valentine’s Gift Giveaway, a townwide event during which participating merchants will offer a chance to win gift baskets, gift certificates and other prizes while providing a relaxed, friendly alternative to the shopping mall.

The Valentine’s Gift Giveaway will run from Friday, February 2nd through Saturday, February 10th. No purchase is necessary. Contest rules and gift values will be determined by each participating business. One entry per business, please, but enter at as many locations as you wish. You need not be present to win. Winners will be drawn at 5:00 PM on February 10th.

The Valentine’s Gift Giveaway will showcase Maynard’s fun and eclectic downtown retail scene. Recently spotlighted on WCVB-TV Channel 5’s news magazine, Chronicle, Downtown Maynard offers variety and convenience in a quaint, milltown setting. In Maynard, rare antiques, vintage apparel and high-fashion footwear mingle unself-consciously with home décor and housewares, as well as compact discs and vinyl records, computers and accessories, jewelry, and original art and handicrafts.

Maynard’s stores also offer winter apparel, toys, greeting cards, one-of-a-kind finds and imports from around the world. After shopping or gift-giving, treat your valentine to dinner at one of Downtown Maynard’s many excellent restaurants, and then unwind with a movie at the Fine Arts Theater, or get down to some live music at one of our friendly pubs.
