The Salem Athenæum will host a special Valentine children’s program featuring author Corinne Demas and a Valentine making workshop.
Admission is free and open to the public. Children are encouraged to bring their friends. The afternoon includes juice and cookies. Reservations are recommended. Please call 978-744-2540.
Demas will read from her book “The Littlest Matryoshka,” followed by a Valentine making workshop using themes and ideas from the book.
Ms. Demas is the author of two collections of short stories, two novels, a memoir, and numerous books for children. She is a professor of English at Mt. Holyoke College and a fiction editor of The Massachusetts Review.
