Arthur will celebrate his birthday on May 24, but he will be 8 years old forever.
To celebrate, the Museum is planning a birthday extravaganza.
During the celebration visitors can:
• Sign Arthur’s Giant Birthday Card
o 11:00am – 4:00pm
o A giant birthday card will be display and families will be invited to sign the card or draw on the card with different types of coloring utensils.
• Make a Birthday Hat
o 11:00am - 4:00pm
o Pre-made party hats out of construction paper, each child and adult can decorate their hats with coloring utensils, streamers, ribbons, pom poms etc.
• Sing Happy Birthday to Arthur and his Friends o 12:00pm Arthur & Buster
o 2:00pm Arthur & D.W.
• Arthur Builds a Tree House (Live interactive Play)
o 12:30pm & 1:30pm
• Story time (Arthur’s Birthday)
o 11am (English Version) & 3pm (Spanish Version)
• Decorate Arthur’s Birthday Cake (Arthur’s Kitchen)
o 10:00am – 12:00pm
o Families will decorate a pretend- 3 tier cake
• Learn to Draw Arthur (Arthur’s Classroom)
o 11:00am -4:00pm
o Self-Directed- Learn to draw Arthur in 6 easy steps
• End of Day
o 4:00pm Visitors receive Hoodsies at the Information Desk o 4:45pm - Arthur, Buster, and D.W. characters will be in the first floor lobby waving bye to the visitors
The inflatable Arthur balloon will also back up on the roof of the Museum, heralding the beginning of warmer weather in Boston.
