Arts of the Islamic World: A Workshop for Children

In conjunction with the exhibition 'Overlapping Realms: Arts of the Islamic World and India,' the Sackler Museum is offering a workshop for children. Students will learn to recognize elements of design in Islamic art including tessellations, linear repeat patterns, and arabesques. The workshop will include a guided look at the artworks in the exhibition, gallery activities, and a hands-on art project to take home. For children ages 9-12.

Pre-registration and pre-payment required and must be received a week before each workshop. (The same workshop will be repeated on March 4, 11, and 18 , so please register for only one. )
