A Victorian Tea and story hour with the very special doll, Miss Columbia. Miss Columbia’s owner Elizabeth Horton will tell of her adventures as a young Victorian girl, share dolls and toys from the museum’s collections and read a story or two from the Around the World with Miss Columbia Exhibit. Appropriate for children ages 4 and up with adult.

Directions:
Driving:
From points south: Take Route 128 north to exit 20-A (Route 1A - Hamilton). Follow Route 1A north for 2.3 miles. The Museum is on the right before the Wenham Town Hall.
From points north: Take Route 95 South to Route 128 North. Then follow the directions as above.

Public Transportation:
B&M Commuter Rail to Hamilton-Wenham; 15-minute scenic walk south from the depot on Route 1A.

  • Come early and visit Around the World with Miss Columbia: A Cultural Journey through Toys and Tales: an exhibit of international toys and dolls and hand-selected chilldren's-world literature, Train Gallerly, and Family Disovery Gallery. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
