Celebrate Mini Maker Week at the Children’s Museum in Easton from April 16-24.
Meet different Makers who will be sharing their knowledge and talents through demonstrations and hands-on activities.
April Vacation Week will be a week of fun, invention and creativity for the whole family!
On Friday, April 22, from 11am-12:30pm, create your own beautiful oil pastel drawing!
Abby Rovaldi of The Attleboro Arts Museum will be joining us for an oil pastel drawing project inspired by Van Gogh’s Sunflowers.
The Attleboro Arts Museum is a privately support, non-profit arts institution that provides creative and artistic development through its diverse educational programs and engaging arts experiences.
Also on Friday, join us from 10am-4pm for our Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog & Environmental Police Design Challenge.
Meet Officer O’Connell and his K-9 partner, Joshua.
Learn about how Joshua finds lost people, illegal drugs and evidence and pick up a special kids’ activity sheet!
After you learn about what Officer O’Connell and Joshua do and about the equipment Vest-A-Dog provides, it is your turn to put on your thinking caps and design something new that will help K-9 units keep us safe.
Mass Vest-A-Dog is a nonprofit organization that provides bullet- and stab-protective vests, essential safety and training equipment and funding for police K-9s throughout the state.
