John has been a spirit professional for 16 years and has worked at various famous restaurants including the Alchemist, Eastern Standard, and was most recently the beverage director for Chef Ming Tsai.
After graduating from UMass Boston, John has worked all over the country to share his knowledge of various spirits - including Japanese whiskey, which he loves!
Participants will enjoy a tasting of the Japanese whiskey presented.
There will also be a selection of light complimentary appetizers.
To add to the fun, participants will be invited to write and share haikus with the class on the whiskey tasting experience.
The tasting event lasts 1.5h and participants will have a chance to taste 3 different types of Japanese Whiskey.
