Share the excitement, sights, and sounds of a re-created Militia Day. Support the hometown militia as they are called to muster, practice marching, and gun firing, and engage in a mock battle. Join a visitor's militia unit and learn to march to the sound of fifes and drums.

Throughout the day, be sure to:

Visit the Striped Pig Tent
Stop by the Gingerbread Booth
Make a paper militia hat, and try on militia gear
Make a stop at the Firearms Exhibit to learn more about firearms

Other highlights include:

Flag raising and lowering ceremonies
Fife and drum music and demonstrations
Drill and inspection with the local militia
Firearm and field maneuver demonstrations
Militia drilling and firing

Come Mess with the Militia: Get up close and personal and have your noon meal with the Militia (extra fee)
