Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre
Treat your mom to an afternoon at the ballet on Mother's Day! Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre is closing out its 2016-17 season at The Sanctuary Theatre in Harvard Square with its final performance of Inescapable Orbit, a program of original works by founder and artistic director, Jose Mateo. The program includes Risk of Repetition (2012, Glass), Still Waters (2003, Debussy), Daphne & Apollo (1990, Beethoven) and the premiere of Affairs set to the music of Canadian composer Marjan Mozetich. The Mother's Day performance is on Sunday, May 14 at 4pm. Tickets are on sale at www.ballettheatre.org.

Nubar will have their Mother’s Day brunch buffet, from 11:30am – 4:00pm. They will have eggs to order, smoked salmon, quiche, and a carving station, lots of traditional and creative dishes, a salad station, and dessert bar. The price is $45/adults, $20 for kids, and free for kids 5 and under – and includes coffee, tea, juice, or soft drinks. This is also the day that the patio opens – weather permitting.
