Roger Williams Park Zoo is hosting a Winter Festival at the historic Carousel Village on Saturday, December 2nd.
Afternoon hours are noon – 3:00 pm for kids and families and feature a visit with Santa, ice carving demonstrations, holiday treats and an opportunity to hop aboard the Carousel Express train or ride the historic Carousel.
During the evening, 4:00 – 8:00 pm, join with friends and family take a horse drawn hayride through the park, visit Santa, see a dazzling holiday light display, enjoy a variety of food carts, sip some hot cocoa and get into the festive mood on the historic Carousel!
All ages welcome.
Parking is free in the Roger Williams Park Zoo parking lots, and the RIPTA trolley is available throughout the event from noon to 8:00 pm to offer free rides to the Carousel.
There is no cost to attend the Winter Festival.
There are minimal fees for activities: $5.00 for the horse drawn hayride in the Park; $5.00 for a visit with Santa; $3.00 for the Train Ride, and $2.00 for a ride on the historic Carousel.
