Linda and Jody Scalise defied their parents wishes and went on to become performers anyway. The result of this collaboration and marriage is pure excitement. As Double Vision, the Scalise’s created “ Mixed Nuts” an inspirational theatrical journey using styles from Vaudeville ala Chaplin, Keaton, and Gracie to a visual feast of skills often likened to Cirque du Soliel . “Mixed Nuts” will go down as one of the best physical presentations ever. This show could also be called Believe, because you will begin to truly believe that all things are possible after witnessing Double Vision..If you took expert and enterprising juggling, synchronized pratfalls, classic mime, zany characterizations, mystifying illusion, contortion, slow motion movement, a tight rope, a giant floating cube, a human robot, umbrellas, a vacuum, a leaf blower, stepladders, instruments, cigar boxes, a kite tail, a giant pinwheel, gibberish, toilet plungers the jitterbug and audience members laughing till they cry, well…….
Mixed Nuts has been performed at State Fairs, theaters, conventions, schools, trade shows, libraries, military bases, art festivals, pavilions, churches, museums, performing art centers and extended care facilities.
One thing has been proven by these vast and different venues; all people need to laugh and that entertainment can be wholesome, suitable for all and still be great.
Double Vision is a true tradition in the making. Joy is contagious and worth catching.

Take Rt. 20/Main Street. The library will be on the right past City Hall and the intersection with Moody Street.
