The ultimate family outing!
Calling all Jedi! The Galactic Empire is one of the most feared military forces in the galaxy! However, did you know that their uniforms were inspired by the Germans during World War II?
In fact, the look of Star Destroyers, “Stormtroopers”, spacecraft and battles all were designed based on symbols and imagery from the Second World War!
From 10 AM to 4 PM, there will be a rotating and fixed schedule of special Star Wars themed activities including:
• A special visitor from a “Galaxy Far, Far Away” will make an appearance.
• “How World War II inspired Star Wars” Demonstration Station
• The Dark or the Light: Enlist in Star Wars Craft
• Gaming Station featuring Star Wars inspired games including Battlefront 2
• Is that a Tie-Fighter: Star Wars ship spotting
• Special scavenger hunt
Feel free to attend in your favorite Star Wars costume. Be advised, masks or blasters (or any type of weapon) will not be allowed on campus – Light sabers WILL be allowed. All activities included in general admission.
Admission is good for two consecutive days. Good for both Battleship Cove and the Maritime Museum.
