Wellness-related businesses, practitioners, gyms and exercise studios plus medical professionals from Maynard and surrounding towns will participate in this Wellness Fest. They will offer wellness information, demonstrations, mini-classes and hands-on work. Health practitioners will offer free evaluations and screenings.
The Road Race is sponsored by Monster.com and Clock Tower Place to raise money for the Maynard Boys and Girls Club. The Road Race is 5K and starts at 1:00 pm. The event also includes a 2 mile walking race. At noon there will be short races on the school track for children 4-12 years old. Free massage will be offered to the registered runners and walkers of the races.
The windup of the event will begin at about 2:30 with the awarding of medals to the race winners, and announcements of winners of the numerous Raffle prizes. The Raffle is open to all registered runners as well as to members of the public who buy Raffle tickets. Raffle prizes are donated by Maynard Businesses, Massage Therapists and by Wellness Fest participants.
