The program entitled 'Vincent: A Portrait by the Postman Roulin' tells Van Gogh's passionate story as a man and an artist. Van Gogh painted over twenty portraits of Roulin and his family that captured the spirit of his postman friend.
Award-winning actor Ted Zalewski becomes Roulin in this one-person show that he created to tell about Van Gogh's life.
He has performed at such venues as the Smithsonian, the National Theatre and the Normal Rockwell Museum. Reviews have called his presentations 'humorous,' 'spellbinding' and 'unforgettable.'
This program, too, is supported by a grant from the Weston and Massachusetts Cultural Councils.
