Sittercity is going to be holding a a FREE SpeedSitting event in Boston in OCTOBER! The event will be held at Red Sky Restaurant located in Faneiul Hall in Boston on Wednesday October 3, 2007 from 11:00 am to 1 pm. Parents will be able to meet over 50 sitters on their lunch hour and have some fabulous Red Sky appetizers and special 'juice' martinis to boot!

What is SpeedSitting?
SpeedSitting is like speed-dating but for parents and sitters. Parents sit at a table with sitters sitting across from them and they have a 3-5 minute chat/interview to see if there is a potential 'match'. When the time is up, sitters move to the next parent and continue this process until parents have met all the sitters! This event will give parents the opportunity to meet over 50 sitters in less than two hours that are looking for both part-time and/or full-time positions as sitters/nannies.
