10 AM and 2 PM Mike Francis Performs as Galileo in The Starry Messenger
Bring a blanket! This performance will be held outside under the tent weather permitting and in the Children’s Discovery Museum classroom in case of rain or cold. Appropriate for all ages.
We are in for a treat as Mike Francis acts in a dramatic fun-filled performance highlighting Galileo’s discoveries and science. Presented as a public lecture, Galileo will describe what he has discovered using his newly devised spyglass. Young scientists in the audience will be asked to lend a hand in experiments and demonstrations

Children’s Discovery Museum
Science is all around us. Many of the ingredients you keep in your kitchen can be used to conduct simple science experiments. Come learn some great ideas you can replicate in your home while your children have fun exploring the result.
9 AM- 4:30 PM Destination Imagination Day
Science Discovery Museum
Bring your Destination Imagination team to the Museum for the day. Join visitors and DI teams as we all explore hands-on exhibits, team concepts, and proactive teamwork. From gears to light effects, physics of flight, to wild sound effects, you'll get ideas to prepare you for the 2008 DI Challenges. From 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Global Finals medal winners will lead special structure challenge workshops. Find out more at www.madikids.org. All welcome.
