The Newton History Museum at the Jackson Homestead presents a series of public programs in conjunction with its current exhibition, 'Norumbega: Recreation and Romance by the River.'

Sunday, Oct. 21, “Greetings from Norumbega” This program introduces the younger generation to Newton’s former amusement park. Ages 6 and up w/adult. $5/child, snack included

Sunday, Oct. 28, 1-4 p.m. “Norumbega Movie Day.” Watch the film “Remembering Norumbega,” bring an image of you or your family visiting the park to be scanned into the museum’s collection, and share memories of the park over light refreshments. Free.

Sunday, Nov. 4, 2-3:30 pm. “Canoeing on the Charles” family program. Ages 6 and up w/adult. $6/child, snack included.
