Storytime with Children's Author Heidi Smith Hyde: Striar JC

Children’s author Heidi Smith Hyde and klezmer musician Barry Shapiro invite families to “Make Music with Mendel.” In this participatory story time program, children will listen to a charming story about Mendel the klezmer musician and his journey from the old country to America.

Additional activities include making instruments and then playing them in an impromptu “Klezmer Band.”

Light refreshment will follow the activities.
