Together with Operation Gratitude, on Saturday, September 11, we will recognize the National Day of Service & Remembrance by packing 1,000 Recruit Graduate care pouches for new Sailors and Coast Guardsmen.
Care pouches include personal hygiene items, snacks, a paracord bracelet, and a handwritten thank you note.
These care packages offer a reminder to the service men and women starting a career in the military that Americans across the nation appreciate their service and sacrifice.
Volunteer shifts will be 3 hours, from 10:00am-1:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm.
Advance registration is required for this event.
Families are encouraged to attend, though due to shift length, we recommend volunteers are ages 13 and up.
Sign up to join our community of volunteers at: https://www.operationgratitude.com/uss-constitution-museum/.
Unable to commit to an entire volunteer shift?
You can still say thank you to the military community by volunteering a few minutes of your time to assemble a smaller care package with a thank you note and paracord survival bracelet from 10:00am-5:00pm at the USS Constitution Museum.
