Hang with Blades the Bruin and support a great cause! Macy's Boston is hosting a PJ Drive and Pajama Party with the Bruins to support local charities this Friday! Stop by from 3 to 7 pm with unused pajamas and enjoy the fun! The Boston Bruins and Macy’s Downtown Boston will host a PJ Drive and Pajama Party event on Friday, March 25, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will feature a pajama fashion show for local kids with Sophia Jurksztowicz, the Bruins rinkside reporter, as emcee.
There will also be a story-time reading with First Lady of Massachusetts Lauren Baker, and a special visit from Bruins mascot Blades between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a pair of new, unused children’s pajamas to donate to the PJ Drive, which strives to provide pajamas to children in need in partnership with Cradles to Crayons and Wonderfund Massachusetts.
The event is presented in partnership with the nonprofit Downtown Boston Business Improvement District, which aims to improve the experience of all who live, work, visit and shop in Downtown Boston.
The PJ Drive will be held at the Downtown Boston Macy’s location at 450 Washington Street. In addition to hosting the event, Macy’s will donate $2,500 towards new children’s pajamas for the PJ Drive.
