The Village Nursery School invites you and your child to come out of the cold and warm up your imagination on Tuesday, January 15th at 11 a.m. as we host well known storyteller Carolyn Martino. Called “one of Rhode Island’s most influential artists” by the Providence Phoenix, storyteller Carolyn Martino happily tells her tales and presents storytelling workshops for all ages at schools, libraries, festivals and special events throughout New England.

She has for many years been a part of the RI and MA statewide summer reading programs and has toured with her special holiday telling of The Nutcracker. She has told at the Jonnycake and RI Storytelling Festivals, Three Apples (MA) Festival, and the Connecticut and Toronto Storytelling Festivals. Her fun, lively, interactive and extensive repertoire of multi-cultural folktales, literary and original stories, humorous tales of wit and wisdom, songs and jokes is designed to help children use their imaginations. She will delight you, inspire you and make your heart sing.

There is no cost and feel free to bring a friend. This performance will be held our school located at 40 Poor Farm Road, Harvard. Following the performance, tours of the school will be available for families seeking to learn more about our programs and about our new class starting in January for children 2.9-3 yrs. old.
