Join us Sat. Oct. 8 - Mon. Oct. 10 for Discovery Museum Reflection Room: Whose Land are We On? as we explore a variety of stories written by Indigenous authors to learn more about Native histories and cultures.
Take a closer look at a map of New England to see where the tribal territories overlay the borders that we know as our current cities and towns. Find out whose land we are really on.
Then take a 'StoryWalk' outside to read 'We Are Grateful: Otsalihelga' by Traci Sorell and follow the pages to learn about the full Cherokee year of celebrations.
