Join us at the New Art Center for our Lunar New Year Community Cultural Day in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Society of Boston.

It's the year of the rabbit!

The sign of Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity.

Art educators will lead participants through different make-and-take activities: Hapjukseon (paper fans), rabbit origami, air dry clay Dasik cookies, and Korean and Chinese calligraphy bookmarks.

Hanna Lee, a traditional Korean dancer, performs at 12:15pm.

Kyungsun Kim, a gayageum player, performs at 1:30pm.

We finish our event with a Lion Dance performance from Calvin Chin Martial Arts Academy at 2:30pm.

ATTENDANCE
The event is free and open to the public.

The event is from 12 to 3 PM.

Doors open 15 minutes beforehand.

We will be photographing this event and by registering, you agree that there is a possibility you may be photographed and the resulting images used for marketing purposes (in email, social media, print, and on our website).
