This year, join a celebration of international film and music in Salem , Massachusetts , America ’s first international city.
Enjoy outstanding features, documentaries, and short films from around the world, participate in face-to-face discussions with filmmakers, and party with world-class musicians in one of America ’s most beautiful and historic cities.
This seven-day event will showcase the work of brilliant, emerging, and controversial filmmakers from Spain, Iran, Romania, Nigeria, Russia, the Dominican, and the US. We're featuring films that are beautiful, human, controversial, inspiring, funny, and rewarding. Most would be very difficult for film lovers to find to view apart from this fest.
All festival activities are located in downtown Salem , within steps of great restaurants, hotels, museums, and historical sites. Events include a Saturday Night Film Bash to socialize with festival participants, featuring music by the High Enery West African World Fusion Band - MAMADOU!!
The festival will start on Thursday, February 28, with a fun kickoff event - (Debra Crosby's Talent Quest TV Show)

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 29-March 2, we'll be showing great movies all day long, holding riveting discussions, and mounting fabulous parties each evening.
On the weekdays, Monday through Thursday, March 2-6, we'll present a different film each day of special interest to groups in the community, including a Russian-language film and an Italian-language film, and feature a discussion after each. These particular films may tell a story from a specific country or culture, but the themes are universal and speak to everyone.
