The taiko (which literally means “drum” in Japanese) is said to be the voice and spirit of Japan. Watch local troupe Odaiko give an exuberant and energetic performance, then jump in and experience first-hand the power of taiko drumming. You will learn some basic techniques including vocalization and ensemble drumming. No experience is necessary. Just bring your energy, spirit, and joy!
