Simon Mtuy, born and raised on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, with over 350 ascents including the fastest unsupported ascent and descent, talks about the mountain he knows and loves, gives advice on reaching its summit, and describes his current environmental advocacy work to preserve its beauty.
Also hear about Tanzania's other great destinations: the sweeping Serengeti with its annual wildebeest migration; the Ngorongoro Crater World Heritage Site and its abundant wildlife; and the exotic island of Zanzibar, awash in tropical delights just off the Tanzanian coast.

Please also note that there is a game scheduled at Fenway Park on this date. This can make parking in the area difficult. We strongly suggest that attendees take the T (Fenway stop on the Greenline) in lieu of driving to this event.
