The renowned imaging equipment retailer, New England’s largest, is pairing professional skateboarding demonstrations from 11 am – 3 pm on Saturday, June 28 with its popular Nikon Loaner Event and Sale. Guests will be invited to take incredible action photos of the skateboarders’ flips and tricks on the 20’x30’x5’ Waterville Valley Ski Resort half pipe ramp using Nikon cameras, lenses and imaging equipment. Pictures taken will be entered into a photo contest tied to the events and uploaded for viewing to www.Boston.com.
Capping the action will be a two-day sale of Nikon cameras and equipment at Hunt’s seven locations in Melrose, Boston, Cambridge, Hadley, Manchester, NH, Providence, RI, and So. Portland, ME, on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28. Free hour-long educational seminars also will be conducted at Hunt’s Melrose headquarters on June 27 beginning at 10:00 am.
Melrose Rotary Skate Park supporters will be on hand to raise money for the new park through the sale of refreshments, slush, drinks and raffles. Music, contests and giveaways will be provided by the Boston Globe GO-Team.
