National Night Out Boston 2008, 'The Power of Neighbors', cultivates and strengthens partnerships among the community, youth, Police, city agencies and community-based organizations. National Night Out also acknowledges the contributions of Neighborhood Crime Watch groups and seeks to increase participation in Crime Watch programs.

Everything is free. That's right free admission to the zoo, food, and entertainment

Too Crowded

Wow! That was insane! Parking was a nightmare. There was traffic for miles before even reaching the event. I had no idea that so many families would be attending. Time (and money) would be much better spent going to the zoo on another day to enjoy the time there. The idea behind the event is great - but it was very overwhelming and the message of community was lost amongst the madness. If a venue of this size cannot handle the event, I don't know what could.
