For 15 years, Jane Mitchell has explored the hearts, souls and scrapbooks of high profile athletes and rising stars through her popular San Diego television program One on One with Jane Mitchell. Jane shares her experiences and their stories in her newly released book One on One – My Journey with Hall of Famers, Fan Favorites and Rising Stars.
While in the Boston area for the series against the San Diego Padres, Jane will share her insights through a few of the events that are open to the public:
• Saturday, June 18th, 12 noon JFK Museum in Hyannis: Book talk/fundraiser for The Cape Cod Baseball League. Part of her talk will include videotaped messages from current Padres who played in the CCBL. www.capecodbaseball.org
• Tuesday, June 21st, 12 noon Fenway Park: Jane will be the keynote speaker at The Great Fenway Park Writers Series lunch at Fenway. • Tuesday, June 21st, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Yawkey Way Store: Jane is conducting a book signing of her hit book One on One – My Journey with Hall of Famers, Fan Favorites and Rising Stars. Open to all Red Sox ticket holders for Tuesday night’s game.
