What’s Adapted PE?
Adapted PE is a physical education program that has been modified to fit the needs of a student who is blind or has additional disabilities.
Megan O’Connell-Copp and Mary Clark (both teachers in the Secondary program) will show us how they adapt physical activities for children who are visually impaired or have motor disabilities, including kids in wheelchairs.
There will be multiple opportunities for you and your kids to get active and be involved, so come ready for action!
