Do you like bacon?
Do you like cycling?
What if we combined them?
Does like + like = love?
That’s what organizers expect to happen on June 13th, 2015 at the Boston Bacon Ride.
The Boston Bacon Ride is a bacon themed bicycle celebration, starting and ending in Shirley, MA; just a short drive from the Greater Boston area.
The ride is a fun filled scenic cycling adventure with bacon themed rest stops and attractions in Pepperell, Townsend, Lunenburg, Lancaster and Harvard.
And the ride ends with more fun, food and music at Shirley’s Bull Run Restaurant.
Ride director Bruce Lederer says “It’s so exciting to be able to create a fun event that appeals to a unique blend of things people enjoy while at the same time supporting an organization that promotes the health benefits of cycling and works to create a safer place to do it.”
Proceeds from the ride go to help the Boston Cyclists Union fulfill its mission of helping Bostonians lead healthier lives by promoting the everyday use of the bicycle for transportation and supporting efforts to create friendlier street designs, bike paths, and public spaces.
The registration deadline is June 1st.: Sign up or learn more at www.CycleMA.com
