Building on the success of last year’s partnership between the Highland Street Foundation, the City of Boston, and the Red Sox, “Out of the Park” is returning on Sunday, September 13.
This premier location provides the perfect opportunity to grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy a live NESN broadcast of the Red Sox away game on a giant projector screen.
Fans can enjoy the seventh inning stretch by participating in giveaways or by meeting caricaturists, balloon artists, and face painters.
Familiar Fenway tastes will also be available with free Hood ice cream and famous Fenway Franks by Kayem.
In addition to the event, the partners this year are collaborating to refurbish 10 ballfields in Boston.
WHO: Adding to the atmosphere of a Fenway game, the event will feature Wally the Green Monster, Red Sox DJ TJ Connelly, the Hot Tamales Brass Band, Organist Josh Kantor, and live PA announcer Henry Mahegan.
