Come see the Essex Base Ball and Lynn Live Oaks as they host an all day vintage base ball event on Sunday May 6th. Join them as they face off against the Mudville Base Ball Club of Holliston, MA and the Dirigo Nine of August, ME in an action packed day of 1861 era base ball (two words back then).

The games will begin at 11:00am, 1:00pm , and 3:00pm on the Activities Field at Endicott Park Danvers, MA. Along with the men’s games the Boston Bloomers (the first women’s team in New England) will be recruiting players and doing a demonstration at 4:30. Admission is free but donations are welcome.

Endicott Park in Danvers, MA Directions to Endicott ParkFrom Route 1 or Route I-95 (North or South) take Route 62 exit. Proceed east on Route 62 to Forest Street (approximately 1/4 mile). Turn right onto Forest Street, proceed 1/4 mile then turn right into the Park’s main entrance.
From Route 128 (North or South), take route 62 West. Proceed on Route 62 for approximately 2 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Forest Street, proceed 1/4 mile then turn right into the Park’s main entrance.
