Young athletes of all backgrounds born between 2004 and 2008 will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Revolution Academy's expert coaching staff at these regional ID Clinics, allowing them a chance to take the first step on the defined pathway to becoming a professional soccer player.
The Revolution Academy, heralded as the elite player development program in New England, gives local youth unprecedented access to the professional-style MLS development environment.
ID Clinics such as this have helped the club identify current MLS stars such as Massachusetts native Diego Fagundez, who became a professional player with the Revolution at just 15 years old and has since played in more than 175 MLS matches with his hometown club.
At the ID Clinic, players will train in a fun and professional environment during 90-minute sessions specially designed by the Academy coaching staff.
The staff will be on-hand to observe the players and educate parents and athletes on the youth development process and the Revolution Academy program.
