The popular Irish sport of hurling will return to Fenway Park with a four-team tournament on Sunday, November 18.
Building off the highly successful Fenway Park events of 2015 and 2017, the four counties will compete for the Players Champions Cup.
In addition to the three-game hurling tournament, the event will feature a lively Irish festival complete with Irish food, music and traditional Irish dancing.
Hurling, widely believed to be the world’s oldest field game, combines agility, strength and intensity, earning it the reputation as the “fastest game on grass” among its loyal and passionate followers.
In partnership with the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) and the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and supported by Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national carrier, Fenway Sports Management will bring ‘Ireland’s Ancient Warrior Sport’ back to Fenway Park for the third time in four years after a 61-year absence dating back to 1954.
