11 am - Cunniffe Academy Irish Step Dancers
11am - Meet a real snake
1pm & 3pm - Join us in the “Aras” (Irish for “House) for a “Cupan Tae”. Have some tea, biscuits, soda bread and conversation.
10:30am, 12:30pm & 2:30pm - Hear an adapted version of the Legend of St. Patrick. Explore other books about Ireland and Play with Irish Dancer paper dolls.
2pm - Performance by students of the Comhaltas Tradition Music School in Boston
Throughout the Day:
- Learn about the Science of Rainbows
- For the 0-3 crowd- Mix Blue and Yellow to make the color of Ireland
- Look closely at Celtic Knots from the Book of Kells and try your hand at your own design
- Music in “Seisun” in the “Aras”
- Afternoon time TBD Learn some Irish greetings and phrases in the Aras
- Play a giant version of Snakes and Ladders
