On the Fridays of, May 12 and June 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m., “P is for Purse,” a Concord Museum Story Hour for children ages 3-5 accompanied by an adult, introduces young children to the special exhibition, The Purse and the Person: A Century of Women’s Purses and the books My Granny’s Purse by P.H. Hanson (May 12) and Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse by Kevin Henkes (June 9).

The story hours are led by a Museum educator and a book-related craft activity and a snack complete the afternoon.

Cost
The program is $9 per child per session; $7 member child, accompanying adult is free. Reservations required as space is limited; please call (978) 369-9763.

The Concord Museum is located in historic Concord, Massachusetts at the intersection of Lexington Road and Cambridge Turnpike, with free parking available on Cambridge Turnpike.
