The Kenrick family had many acres of fruit orchards when they lived in Newton and their growing legacy is still present in our orchard and gardens.
Our free, bi-weekly Storytime program engages kids 18 months to 6 years old by focusing on play, Newton's history, literacy, and lessons from our museums.
Each 30-45 minute program includes reading from a children's book, an activity, a museum takeaway, and access to the museum afterward.
Families are welcome to bring snacks for their kids.
Includes free entrance to the museums after the program.
Location: Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds, 286 Waverley Ave., Newton, MA 02458
